Lock Your Phone 📱
Set up screen lock:
iPhone: Settings → Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID) Android: Settings → Security → Screen lock
Options:
- PIN (6 digits recommended)
- Password (most secure)
- Fingerprint (convenient + secure)
- Face ID (iPhone) - very secure
- ❌ Pattern - less secure, easy to guess
Use Strong Passcode 🔐
Good passcodes:
- ✅ 6 digits minimum
- ✅ Not birthday
- ✅ Not 123456 or 000000
- ✅ Not repeating numbers (111111)
Better: Use alphanumeric (letters + numbers)
Enable Find My Phone 📍
iPhone - Find My: Settings → [Your Name] → Find My → Find My iPhone → ON
Android - Find My Device: Settings → Security → Find My Device → ON
What it does:
- Locate lost phone
- Lock it remotely
- Erase data if stolen
