Your phone has a built-in flashlight that's incredibly handy. Here's how to turn it on and off.
On iPhone
Fastest Way (From Lock Screen):
- Don't unlock your phone
- Press firmly on the flashlight icon 🔦 in the bottom-left corner
- Press it again to turn OFF
From Control Center:
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen
- Tap the flashlight icon 🔦
- Tap it again to turn OFF
Using Siri:
Just say: "Hey Siri, turn on the flashlight"
On Android
From Quick Settings:
- Swipe down from the top of your screen
- Look for the flashlight icon 🔦
- Tap it to turn ON
- Tap it again to turn OFF
Using Google Assistant:
Say: "Hey Google, turn on the flashlight"
On Samsung
- Swipe down from the top of the screen
- Swipe down again to see more icons
- Tap Flashlight
- Tap again to turn OFF
