Get connected to WiFi and save your cellular data!
Quick Steps 🚀
Step 1
Swipe down from top (twice if needed)
Step 2
Long-press WiFi icon
Or: Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi
Step 3
Toggle WiFi ON
Step 4
Tap network from list
Step 5
Enter password
Step 6
Tap "Connect"
Done! WiFi icon appears at top.
Finding Password 🔑
Check router:
- Bottom/back of router has sticker
- Shows network name and password
Already connected? (Android 10+)
- Settings → Wi-Fi → Tap network
- Tap "Share" → Use fingerprint
- Password shown below QR code
Troubleshooting 🔧
"Authentication error"?
- Check password carefully (case-sensitive!)
- Forget network and reconnect
- Restart phone and router
Network not showing?
- Move closer to router
- Check WiFi is ON
- Tap "+" to manually add network
Connected but no internet?
- Toggle WiFi OFF then ON
- Restart phone
- Check if internet service is working
Managing Networks 💾
See saved networks: Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Saved networks
Forget a network: Long-press network → Forget
Why forget?
- Public WiFi you don't want auto-connecting
- Old networks not using
- Fixing connection problems
Public WiFi Safety ⚠️
When on public WiFi:
- ✅ General browsing OK
- ❌ No banking
- ❌ No shopping with credit cards
- ❌ No passwords for important accounts
