How to Add Someone to Your Contacts 👤
Save someone's email address so you can easily find them next time you want to send a message.
Why Add Contacts?
- No more typing long email addresses
- Find people quickly when composing emails
- Avoid typos that send emails to the wrong person
On iPhone/iPad
From an Email You Received:
- Open the email from the person
- Tap their name at the top
- Tap their email address
- Tap Create New Contact
- Add their name and tap Done
From the Contacts App:
- Open the Contacts app
- Tap the + sign
- Enter their name and email
- Tap Done
On Gmail (Computer)
From an Email:
- Open an email from the person
- Hover over their name at the top
- Click Add to Contacts (person icon with +)
From Google Contacts:
- Go to contacts.google.com
- Click + Create contact
- Enter name and email
- Click Save
On Android Phone
- Open the Contacts app
- Tap the + button
- Enter their name
- Tap Add email and type it in
- Tap Save
💡 Helpful Tips
- Add a photo to help you remember who they are
- Add their phone number too while you're at it
- Double-check spelling of their email address

Once someone is in your contacts, when you start typing their name in a new email, their address will appear automatically!
