Step-by-Step Instructions 📱
For Gmail App (All Email Types):
- Open the Gmail app (red and white envelope)
- Tap the menu icon (three lines in top-left)
- Tap Settings
- Tap Add account
- Choose your email type:
- Google (Gmail)
- Outlook/Hotmail
- Yahoo
- Other
Enter Your Email 📧
- Type your email address
- Tap Next
- Type your password
- Tap Next
Finish Setup ✅
- Follow any additional steps
- Tap Done or Finish
Check If It Worked 🎯
- Open the Gmail app
- Tap your profile picture (top-right)
- You should see your new email listed
- Tap it to switch to that account
Using Samsung Email App 📱
Samsung phones have a separate Email app:
- Open Email app
- Type your email address
- Type your password
- Tap Sign in
- Allow any permissions
- Tap Done
Common Issues 🔧
Wrong password?
- Try typing it slowly
- Check for CAPS LOCK
- Reset your password online first
Gmail won't add?
